Terms & Conditions

1. Reservation

  • The booking is made once we have received your deposit and we have confirmed your booking in writing (by email or post).

 

2. Payment

  • For reservations made more than 6 weeks before the holiday start date this is a deposit of 20% of the rental cost.
  • The balance of the total holiday cost is payable no later than 6 weeks before the arrival date.
  • If not paid by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeit.
  • In the case of bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival full payment is due on booking.

 

3. Cancellation

  • You should inform us immediately if you are unable to go to the cottage for your holiday.
  • Refunds and waivers of any further payment due for your holiday are given at our discretion.
  • In the event that no refund or waiver of monies is given then the deposit (20% of the rental price) will be forfeit.
  • If we re-let the property after the balance has been paid we will refund the balance to you (retaining the deposit to cover our costs in re-letting).
  • In the event of the property not being available (e.g. fire or flood), we will notify you as soon as possible, and make a full refund of monies paid.

 

4. Damage Or Losses

  • You are responsible for leaving the accommodation in good order and in a clean condition.
  • You will be responsible to pay the reasonable cost of repairing any damage or losses incurred during your occupation.
  • You will be responsible to pay the reasonable cost of any extra cleaning required.

 

5. Numbers in Party

  • You must provide the names of all the guests in your party.
  • The number of persons occupying the cottage must not exceed six.
  • Only the guests listed may stay at the property unless by prior arrangement.

 

6. Occupancy

  • Pets are not allowed.
  • This a No Smoking establishment.
  • Occupancy shall be from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

 

7. Responsibility

  • You and members of your party are expected to note and observe the Notes for Visitors.
  • This includes the Heating and Hot Water advice and the Refuse/Recycling Arrangements.
  • Members of the party are responsible for the safekeeping of their vehicles and personal possessions whilst at the property.
  • We are not responsible for the effects of extreme weather, power cuts, water shortages, coastal or farming disasters, epidemic or pandemic.
